When it comes to pool leak detection the process can make all the difference.

Over the years we’ve found the best process, bar none, is our Full Leak Detection.   Every nook and cranny of the entire structure is accounted for and every plumbing line is pressure tested to ensure its integrity.  Should any pressure test fail, we have specialized equipment to pinpoint where the break in the plumbing line is – under the deck, in a planter or in your yard.

Repairs.

It’s true, most leaks in Inground pools are properly repaired with underwater epoxy.

At no charge.  And without draining your pool.

If your leak does require a construction-type repair, we have you covered there as well.  We have dedicated State licensed repair teams who work under Mackay pools direct supervision. This ensures that all work is carried out to the highest standard with the least possible inconvenience to the customer.

Report.

On completion of the work, you’ll be handed a comprehensive report and a leak-free pool.

Pricing.

We charge a flat rate, based upon the makeup of the pool.

An interesting tactic for some companies is to charge per leak or per hour, both of which leave plenty of room for interpretation.

We do not install Vinyl Liners and therefore will not recommend installing a new liner unless repairs to the existing liner are unviable.

Guarantee.

We guarantee that if we can’t find it, you don’t pay for it.

If are losing more than 12mm a day, we guarantee that you do not owe us a single cent if we cannot find your leak(s). If you are losing less than 12mm a day, please learn about evaporation. See our suggestions for decreasing water loss through evaporation, under ‘Pool Maintenance Tips’. Many customers who are losing less than 12mm a day still would like the confidence of knowing whether or not they have a leak. In this case, we are more than happy to do a leak detection, but please be aware of the limits of our guarantee.
